AUGUST ACTIVITIES IN HAMILTON
All Saturdays in August the Valley’s Farmer’s Market continues to have an aboundance of locally grown organic produce including fruits. Many baked goods and handmade arts and crafts.
August 16 – Saturday – Bitterroot National Forest Service offers interpretive “Moon Walks” – This month it’s “Spirit Moon” at Fort Owen State Park in Stevensville. Learn about mysterious historical stories from across the state from an author and historian.
August 24 – Montana Shakespeare in the Park – Macbeth
August 27-31 – Ravalli County Fair – One of the best activities of the year – great fun for all members of the family and an opportunity to visit with your neighbors.
August 31 – Hamilton Demo Derby – Lots of crashes! Car’s from across Western Montana and Northern Idaho compete for a $2,500 purse.
